What is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving! It kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.

When is Giving Tuesday?

Giving Tuesday is celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday. This year’s Giving Tuesday will be held on November 27.

How can I get involved with Giving Tuesday?

Getting involved with Giving Tuesday is simple: just give! You can give to your church, your neighbor, a stranger on the street, your favorite charity, or anyone! You can give of your time, your talents or your treasure. The spirit of Giving Tuesday is about sharing the blessings each one of us have.

How can I help Chez Hope on Giving Tuesday?

We’ve planned this year’s event to really show off the community spirit. Here are some ways you can help:

  1. You can donate directly to our PayPal account here. This Giving Tuesday, we are directing donations to our school programs. To learn more about our school programs, click here!
  2. You can share the excitement of Giving Tuesday with your friends! Download and print this UNselfie page. (UNselfie because you’re being UNselfish, get it?) Write on it why you are helping Chez Hope this year, take your picture with the sign and share it on social media. Be sure to use the hashtags #GivingTuesday #UNselfie and #ChezHope in your post! You can even tag us!
  3. Share our Giving Tuesday posts with your friends on Social Media. Invite them to join our Facebook Event, retweet us on Twitter, and share our Instagrams on your story.

Where can I send in my own Giving Tuesday ideas?

We love to hear what our supporters have to say! Send an email here and we will get in touch!

Thanks for all of your support. Your help is absolutely essential to survivors of Domestic Violence.
